The Israeli military said that Iran fired several rockets at Israel, after US President Donald Trump postponed the implementation of his threat to bomb the Islamic Republic’s electricity and energy infrastructure because of what it described as constructive talks with Iranian officials.
The rockets triggered sirens in areas of Israel, including Tel Aviv, where explosions from interceptions were heard.
Trump wrote in a post on the Truth Social platform on Monday that the United States and Iran had held “very good and constructive” talks on a “final and comprehensive solution to the hostilities in the Middle East.”
