High-level U.S. and Iranian leaders arrived in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad on Saturday for negotiations to end the war between their two countries six weeks ago, but Tehran cast a shadow over the talks by saying they could not begin without pledges on Lebanon and sanctions.
The U.S. delegation headed by J. has landed. Vice President Donald Trump’s Steve Witkoff, President’s special envoy and Jared Kushner, includes Trump’s son-in-law on two US Air Force planes at an air base in Islamabad this morning, where they were received by Pakistani Army Commander Assem Mounir and Secretary of State Ishaq Dar.
